Great start to our trip in Rwanda. Smooth check in and check out process. We had a good night’s sleep (there is AC), and the rooms were clean. Loved the breakfast space – very green and plenty of birds. There was ample choice for breakfast: cereal, omelet, fresh fruit, potatoes, meat, chicken, sausages, some ham and cheese and a selection of savory and sweet pastries.

This is my second time staying at this hotel.

Lovely hotel with beautiful landscaping & lobby. Our stay was supposed to have been 4 nights, but a flight disruption caused us to miss the first 3 nights. We enjoyed the short time we had there & recommend it as a lovely location to stay during your visit to the gorgeous city of Kigali. We were highly impressed with the service both at the hotel and everywhere in the city. The locals were friendly & helpful & all around lovely. Highly recommend a visit here.

Lovely hotel near the heart of Kigali. The food was great and the location superb. I loved the relaxed environment and the excellent service. In particular the lunch and dinner were great and the view of the city was great. Evening entertainment was a very nice way to end an excellent stay,

We spent 2 nights at Mille Collines and had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The concierge, Kenny, went above and beyond to help us by arranging a taxi to go back to the airport the following evening to pick up our luggage that was delayed as well as walking us to a shopping area so we could buy some extra clothes in the meantime. All of the front staff were helpful in answering questions and pointing us in the right direction. The rooms were comfortable and had a great view of the city. We enjoyed our stay.

A landmark in itself, Des Milles Collines Hotel offers excellent service in a 4 star hotel in the heart of Kigali. Excellent food, friendly service and good location.
The rooms offer the services offered by a 4 star hotel with excellent breakfast, art display and friendly service.
I will return on my next visit to Kigali.

What a lovely hotel. The staff were first class. The pool:bar area was lovely, well presented and clean. Food was great, tasty and well presented. The breakfast was extensive and plentiful with a help yourself buffet. We really felt welcomed and cared for.

I had the best experience at Hotel des Mille Collines, it is among the best hotels in Rwanda and the service and care I received there proved it correct. I had an amazing stay there, their staff is very professional and the service quality is impeccable. If you stay at Mille Collines I recommend you ask for a room with a view to the pool and/or the city, the scenery is beyond amazing to witness at night.

Liked · The service is very good. The staff are accommodating to my needs. I arrived very early, and they let me check in immediately and even allowed me to have a breakfast buffet that day. On the last day, we decided to visit Akagera National Park. We approached the manager at 10pm, and he immediately contacted a driver for us, which we didn’t expect to work out honestly.

Liked · Stayed here for two nights. Had a garden view room overlooking the pool. Staff are quite friendly, food is good, nice breakfast, and a really good large pool. Good location for downtown, about a 10 minute walk to the mall / car free zone. Arranged airport transfer through the hotel which went smoothly, the driver was waiting for us on arrival into the airport which was nice. Fast WiFi.
